Cookie Policy
How this directory uses browser storage and analytics, and how you can control it.
Cookie and local storage
_ra_uid is a first-party analytics cookie containing a random identifier and the date of the most recent visit. The browser uses it to identify first and returning visits. Its expiry is refreshed to 365 days on each tracked visit. It is set for this website with Secure and SameSite=Lax attributes.
_ra_ignore is a localStorage preference, not a cookie. It stores the value 1 when you opt out of this tracker and has no automatic expiry. It remains for this website in this browser until removed or until site storage is cleared.
What analytics records
The tracker sends the page path, referring website hostname, broad device category, first-visit and first-visit-today indicators, and labels for selected button or external-link clicks. It does not read contact-form field values or include page query strings in its analytics payload. The cookie identifier is not an explicit field in that payload, although cookies may accompany requests to this website.
Our analytics service stores daily counts and country-level information when supplied by the hosting platform. Clicks classified as contact or lead actions can also create records of the time, action type, label, page, and available device and country information. A click record does not by itself establish that a message was successfully delivered.
Processing and purpose
We use these records to understand traffic, improve content, and measure use of listing actions. Requests pass through Vercel hosting to our analytics service, which uses Google Cloud Firestore for storage. Technical request information, including IP and browser headers, is processed for delivery and abuse prevention. First-party cookie describes where the cookie is set; it does not mean no service provider processes the request.
Stop or resume this tracker
Choose turn off site analytics to store an opt-out in this browser, or turn site analytics back on to remove it. These controls work on the HTTPS production domain with JavaScript and local storage available. The tracker is already disabled on localhost, non-HTTPS pages, and vercel.app preview addresses.
The opt-out applies only to this browser and website. Repeat it on other browsers or devices. It stops new events from this tracker; it does not delete an existing analytics cookie or previously recorded data. You can delete the cookie separately. Clearing all site storage also removes the opt-out, so set it again if you want tracking to remain off.
Browser controls and other websites
You can delete or block cookies and local storage in browser settings. Blocking _ra_uid alone does not stop page or click events; use the opt-out above to stop this tracker. If the cookie is deleted without an opt-out, a new one can be created on a later visit. The site has no account login or preference that depends on this analytics cookie.
